Giant Squid vs. Kingler

I'm sorry I haven't uploaded a lot lately:c School got off to a pretty bad start but all is well now. This here is my first time using watercolor pencils; I drew and colored the image then went over it with a wet paintbrush, but in the process I completely obliterated my shading so this is more of a foraged image :b

If you would like to know the story behind this: The idea is that the world's water has dried up and a group of survivors is making a journey across the now empty basin once known as the Atlantic ocean in search of other survivors. They unknowingly camp out atop a Kingler (Yeah, there's pokemon in the future) and it carries them across the land. They come across a giant squid that has dried up and taken shelter in a shell to protect its now brittle body and then we get this image c: If I had more time I would have made the shell more of a cowrie shell design but I am very limited:c
